Default Hibernia's economic overview

Everyone seems to be angered at the fact that money on Hibernia is extremely difficult to make. Well, It's not just King's fault. King has to change everything to add a sense of difficulty to the game and players just mess it up by selling stuff back for a lot cheaper. In order for King to go with that he has to make sale prices low and buy prices high. He also
has to change drop rates just to keep the price about the same. So I will be working over the next few days to make a list of all the items in the game and their suggested prices. I, myself, am not a merchant, so I won't be taking advantage of this list to make money off of the list I made. Until I am complete with this I'd like nobody to post here unless they can make a valueable contribution in the prices on this list. To simplify before the list is made, Items usually sold by NPC's shouldn't be bought for anything cheaper than Three-Fourths of the NPC's price in which it sells it for. All these prices are just approximations and if you don't agree with them just leave a message.Of course I know most will not comply with this list and still sell at their own prices for their shameful greed, but please try to compromise with this list so we can improve the economy of Hibernia.

i think the fish ell price should go like 1+X for uncooked and 6+x for cooked, x would equal the fish you get at a certain level, for instant raw fish or whatever would be 1, after that is 2, trout, then catfish or whatever and so on

I guess that's kinda good but the gap from good fish to better fish would be only 1....

Anyway I haven't got to work on this much...but I'll continue it later

Eh have you added Steel scimitars to the list?

They are droped by poison frogs.

I think they should be 5k.

I'm not an expert on economy but here are some basic guidelines and questions to ask to know the true value of an item.

Rarity: How many of the certain item exists in the game?
Quality(Weapons/armor): How much Def/attack does it have? What skills does it level up?
Availability: Can you buy it in a shop? How many different shops?
NPC Buy/Sell price: How much did you pay for it? How much would an NPC buy it back for?
Donation: Did you donate for the item?
Special effects: What else does it do? (Short sword=Pardon, Ring of quickness=raises attack speed)

One last tip: You should never sell anything that you could buy from an NPC for equal or higher than it's original sale price.
