I have gotten GH3 for the Wii. It is made of awesome and win. Also it has anonymous online play.

The whole idea of guitar hero is to simulate playing a guitar. Similarly, the role of any FPS is to simulate being in a combat situation.

By your logic, you would have us all go out and shoot people in the street, because you believe you-might-as-well-do-the-real-thing.

It's a video-game. Video-games are designed to be fun. Learning guitar is not as fun as picking up a guitar-hero controller and being able to play some really difficult songs almost instantly.
