Pking? Lesson to the New Guys I could understand killing (pking) someone if they lost experience or dropped valuable items that they might have equipped, but in Hibernia that's not the case. In this game you have open arenas to duel as you please, yet some of you insist on killing others for fun in a PvP environment which leaves you Vile. Sure, newbie’s might drop a few 100 gold, or a broken longsword. It’s nothing to brag about. Someone might get on your nerves so you kill them. Trust me, hold back your anger and if it comes down to it, let them kill you. I mean, come on! You go back to you last spawn point, you lose no XP, no skills, maybe a few worthless items if you're smart and put your money in the bank. Often it's easier to die in a suicide than to travel back to town. Death doesn't really punish the player, yet killing another player punishes the pker. To die Vile means that's 1 less hitpoint you can gain, making you weaker. And since there's guards in every town waiting for a Vile Murderer, it might be hard to secure your pardon that is if you already have a shortsword. I know all of you old heads know what I'm talking about, and probably kill because you will receive no consequences... But that's because you've already received your max punishment. So I’m directing this more towards the fresh meat. Just a little friendly tip to the new guys, keep your shortswords in your pants, and find a nice arena to test out your powers. Also, you old heads keep in mind that someday more hp might be available and every vile death you receive might take away from that even thought atm it doesn't matter. Even if you loot 10k after pking someone, its not worth not being able to get your hp to 110, 90, 80, or even 70... Take it from the old heads. I play this game to have fun with my girlfriend, but i'll also help anyone that needs advice since you most likely wont get any good advice from anyone else thats as active as me.
